Nancie Silves
A lifelong resident of Whatcom County, Nancie has always been a person of creativity in a variety of art forms ranging from the everyday (ceramics and painting) to the rarely seen (stained-glass and pysanka). After retiring from a career with Intalco Aluminum Corporation in 2003, Nancie began a second career as a computer-skills instructor at Whatcom Community College and worked as a private consultant helping Seniors develop the skills to use computers and the Internet in their everyday lives. Today, when she isn't working on her jewelry designs, Nancie enjoys spending time with her husband of 42 years,Don, her five children, and her ten grand-children.
